Star Wars: The Last Jedi Gets A Beautiful IMAX Exclusive Poster

Star Wars fans had a field day yesterday. Not only did Lucasfilm open the ticket sales to the highly anticipated sequel trilogy installment, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but the studio also dropped the long-awaited trailer to The Force Awakens sequel.

Now the film has a beautiful new IMAX poster showing Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) watching from a distance as Rey (Daisy Ridley) does a few training forms on Ahch-To. A beautiful illustrated piece by the artist Dan Mumford, the poster is part of a new IMAX promotion at AMC locations.

Star Wars fans who go to see The Last Jedi in IMAX get to receive exclusive prints of the new poster just like fans got to have a cool new IMAX poster of The Force Awakens when the film premiered back in 2015.

It's a very beautiful piece that depicts Luke's hesitation in training Rey, something that's already been spoken about by the cast and crew in previous interviews. Knowing how he lost most of his students to Ben Solo (Adam Driver) after his nephew turned to the Dark Side, it stands to reason that Luke would be a bit hesitant in teaching Rey the ways of the Jedi.

We can't wait to see the two warming up to each other when The Last Jedi premieres on December 15, 2017.
