Star Wars: The Last Jedi Director Confirms Appearance in Orlando Celebration

The Star Wars Celebration in Orlando is something of a special experience for fans. Previously, there was a rumor that new footage exclusive to the celebration will showcase some money shots involving none other than Luke Skywalker.

Now, Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson has confirmed that he will be in the celebration. Over his Tumblr, he teased a backstage, behind-the-scenes teaser image of a bunch of Stormtroopers.

"We're coming to Orlando for a Star Wars Celebration panel on April 14th and I cannot wait. See you there!"

This basically means that he will be at the event, joining Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy at the special panel discussion. There are no other details revealed for the event, and if the previous rumor holds water, then fans may be treated to a footage that would be an epic thing to witness before everyone else does.

There have already been previous teasers linked to the movie. Among them is the possibility of Finn going into a covert mission involving a new Star Destroyer.

A lot of Star Wars: The Last Jedi rumors are swirling, but if all goes well, there may be a lot of confirmations once the celebrations hit the high note.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be out on Dec. 15.
