Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Launches This Fall

Star Wars fans will be happy to hear that their favorite animated series, Star Wars Rebels, has been renewed for a fourth season. The continuing adventures of starship Ghost and its fearless Empire-fighting crew will launch this fall.

Star Wars Rebels, which has been airing since 2014, is set in the same time as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This intrepid group of freedom fighters is bemt on creating havoc in the Empire in the time period set after Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars IV: A New Hope. The third season will end on March 25.

Marc Buhaj, Senior VP of Disney XD which produces Star Wars Rebels, says in an official statement of the fourth-season renewal: 

“The team behind ‘Star Wars Rebels’ delivers epic storytelling that has captivated fans of all ages across the globe. We’re excited to continue sharing the journey of these fan-favorite rebels with our audience in the fall.”

Star Wars Rebels expands on the universe established by the franchise, and entrances the fans with the evolving mythology as they continue to await the next installment of the unstoppable saga. There are rumors that a new animated series might be in the works, aka Star Wars: Rivals
