Star Wars: Mark Hamill Teases Surprising Last Jedi Deleted Scene

Star Wars: The Last Jedi continues to be divisive and that probably won't change when the film is available on home release. Director Rian Johnson had previously hinted at some deleted scenes but felt that the version seen in cinemas was the best cut and even his own personal director's cut. Not much is known about these deleted scenes but Mark Hamill just teased one with huge implications.

On Instagram, Hamill gave a shout out to Last Jedi co-star Laura Dern, giving her plenty of sweet compliments. However, fans were surprised to see Hamill write "xoxo from your deleted scene partner," hinting that the two actually share some screen time together. This is quite the surprise since the two never see each or mention each other throughout the film.

By the time Luke uses the Force to project himself to distract Kylo-Ren, Huldo had already sacrificed herself to save The Resistance. Could the deleted scene have these two characters interact before she decides to do this? Right now we can only speculate but it's definitely a scene that fans of the film will be curious about.

If reports are true, the digital home release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi is March 14, with a physical release likely planned for the following month.
