Star Wars: Mark Hamill Returns to Voice Luke Skywalker in Forces of Destiny Short

If you haven't been following Star Wars: Forces of Destiny, it's a miniseries which aims to bridge the tiny gaps in the Star Wars universe, and even includes voice performances from original actors like Lupita Nyong'o and Daisy Ridley. A new episode has been released focusing on Luke's training in Dagobah, and Mark Hamill returns to voice the character.

Struggling with his Jedi training, Luke is grateful for master Yoda's offer to join him on a sojourn through the trees and swamps of Dagobah, until he learns that Yoda will be riding in his backpack! Minding Yoda, Luke learns to trust what he feels instead of what he thinks he sees

It's always cool to see more of the universe fleshed out, and it's interesting to see just how much Hamill's voice has changed since Empire Strikes Back. If you try to compare the voices of Luke then and Luke here, you'll notice that Hamill's voice has gotten more gravelly. Not surprising counting how long it's been.

Though I honestly could care less about the animation style, these little Forces of Destiny snippets stay true to characters, and they're interesting to watch. Granted we'll be getting more of them as long as Star Wars is a thing. The next ones will probably focus on Solo characters like Emilia Clarke's Qi'Ra.
