Star Wars: Comic Book Artist Shares The Last Jedi Concept Art

Most comic book fans know Mark Simpson aka Jock as the artist for a number of high profile comic runs, including Detective Comics and Wytches with Scott Snyder. It turns out Jock also provided concept art for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which he shared on Twitter recently. The artist seems to be quite proud of his work, as he should since the art he shares is quite striking.

In his post, Jock writes a figurative conversation with his 15-year-old self, essentially saying that this was a childhood dream come true. The film was a visually striking one, after all, so he did a great job here. Jock also shares the film credit, proving it to anyone who had doubts.

We get to see concept art for Rey, Luke Skywalker, and General Leia Organa. Most of these designs made it to the final cut, so Jock should be even more proud of his contributions. This should tide fans over until they get an artbook of The Last Jedi.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now showing in theaters.
