Star Wars Battlefront Sequel Will Include Single Player Campaign

One of the biggest complaints in last year's Star Wars Battlefront game from EA and DICE is the lack of single player campaign, but it looks like that will change in the sequel.

Speaking to Eurogamer, DICE producer Paul Keslin confirmed that the 2017 sequel will include a single player campaign that will tell a new story in the Star Wars galaxy.

"Myself as a Star Wars fan, I want story, I want narrative," Keslin said. "I want something I can play that immerses me in that world but gives me something to follow and chase"

Star Wars: The Force Awakens star John Boyega (Finn), who had previously campaigned EA to include a story mode, was among many who expressed their excitement about the news on social media:

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is slated to release in 2017.
