As expected, the Star Wars Celebration in Orlando today dropped the above trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront II, as well as new details. Launching in November, the game will take place in the Star Wars universe between the events of The Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. There is a twist though! The campaign story will be told from the perspective of the Empire! After witnessing the loss of second Death Star, you will be propelled into battle vs the Rebels to avenge your beloved Emperor.
In addition to single-player, the game will feature a rich multi-player that will include game maps from the prequels, the original trilogy, and The Force Awakens. Arching over many generations of characters, you will be able to play as Kylo Ren, Darth Maul, Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Rey, and more!
Star Wars: Battlefront II will be released on November 17 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
