Star Wars Battlefront II: Multiple Stages And Ships Confirmed In Stunning Space Battle Gameplay Trailer

After DICE's Star Wars Battlefront was poorly received by fans when it came out, the game developers look to be upping the ante with their release of Star Wars Battlefront II later this year. A new trailer has just come out highlighting the space battles, and boy does it look amazing!

Like the rest of the trailers, this one also confirms that we will be exploring multiple eras not just on the ground, but in space as well. We have new generation X-Wings going to battle with the first order, and we also get to see the clone troopers fly around their Republic era cruisers.

The trailer also seems to confirm that there will be "hero" ships from both sides that players can choose from. We have confirmation that Darth Maul will pilot his own ship which acts like a TIE phantom and disappears within the battlefield. We also get Yoda piloting his own Jedi Starfighter on the planet of Kamino.

What's cool is, the game looks to be delving deep into the Star Wars canon, even referencing the Clone Wars series. In the trailer, we get to see a Republic era Y-Wing, which looks to be the original design compared to the Rebel Y-Wings we see in A New Hope.

Let's hope this game doesn't disappoint.

Star Wars Battlefront comes out Nov. 17.
