Star Wars Battlefront II Developer Cleverly Fires Back at Angry Player

Though the game admittedly didn't kick off to a great start, Star Wars Battlefront II is slowly becoming the game that it should have been at launch; that however, hasn't stopped people from throwing all their complaints at the developers. Every now and then, however, the developers fire back.

This is what DICE's Ben Walke had to say (via Reddit) to a player after he decided to trash talk the game and the devs:

I love when Ben stands up to the toxic members of this community.

For now, the Battlefront II community is not in the best state, since it looks like EA had taken all of the developers before launch and transferred them over to other games—leaving BFII with a skeleton crew to pump out content.

This has the resulted in some very slow updates for the game. E3 had four heroes and a new map announced, but the roadmap revealed they won't all be coming until the end of the year.

Other than that, the progression system has been fixed, and a lot of players agree that the core gameplay is fantastic. For now, players are just hoping that EA decides to put focus back on BFII so we could get a steady stream of content throughout the year.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
