It's not uncommon for leaks to happen, but this may have been a big one. And it doesn't help that it would have been just a day before the first preview went smoothly.
The Internet has been abuzz following the leak of the cinematic trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 2 via the official EA Twitter account. In a rare moment, all the mirrors are currently still up, such as the link below, where we get to see a sneak peek at not only the look and feel of the sequel, but also hints of planned features.
In the trailer, we see an unnamed woman who seems to be part of the Imperial army. She narrates the events leading to the demise and "the day the real war began." From the looks of the narrative side of the game, we may be looking at another side of the coin, which is the untold story of a soldier.
More than this, the trailer also shows recognizable characters, including Rey, Kylo Ren, and Darth Maul. In case you missed that hand, Yoda was also in the mix. This may be what the trailer is pertaining to as "Across All Eras," because we literally just traversed the newer stories as well as the original trilogy and even the prequel.
As far as locations go, it's possible that both planet interactions and space battles are present, so that would mean a lot of things to do for the game.
Watch the teaser while you still can, but it is looking to be a great one. In fact, the last tag pertains to preorders, a must for those who want to get Star Wars: The Last Jedi heroes. Guess they weren't kidding about expanding the universe.
The Star Wars Celebration in Orlando is scheduled from April 13 to 16. Here's to getting more information there, now that we've seen a glimpse of the gameplay.
