Star Wars: Battlefront 2 May Be Moving Towards Cohesive Storyline

If there was one particular criticism for Star Wars: Battlefront, it was the lack of a campaign narrative. Granted, fans were given regular heroes, missions, and updates, but after the mission is over, there's no satisfaction in realizing another aspect of the lore.

All this is supposed to change, especially now that Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has zoomed in not on the usual heroes, but rather the supposed members and villains of the Dark Side. A new announcement (via PC Gamer) from Walt William, known lead narrative for Spec Ops: The Line confirmed that this was his next project.

This comes right after the release of both the trailer and a couple of new info surrounding the game. But one more interesting announcement is that, there is one other name tagged in creating the narrative for the game.

Those who have been following the career path of then-game journalist Mitch Dyer would know that he had quit IGN back in April 2016. This was due to a supposed mystery gig in Montreal, but this may actually be the reason why.

Over at Twitter, Williams was gushing over the experience that he had writing with Dyer:

"Excuse me while I crush on Mitch Dyer a bit. Writing Star Wars with him has been the best writing experience of my life. His talent and passion made our story soar. Not lying when I say he is more than the best co-writer ever, he's also one of my best buds."

Star Wars: Battlefront 2will be out on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on Nov. 17.
