Star Wars Actor Domhnall Gleeson Admits Reading Full Episode IX Script

They say that knowledge is power. For Domhnall Gleeson, the same knowledge has been the worst thing that could happen to him. The Peter Rabbit actor has just admitted that he already knows how Star Wars: Episode IX will end and the information has made life pretty difficult for him.

Gleeson recently shared on the Happy Sad Confused podcast that he read the entire script of Episode IX. The man who plays General Hux then confessed he is in constant fear of accidentally revealing the entire plot while sleeping on an airplane.

"The nightmare is falling asleep on public transport... The nightmare is you wake up on a plane and someone's dictating. You wake up and your mouth is shaping words, you wake up and you're like 'Skywalker did this.' And then you realize you don't know how long you've been speaking, and there's a kid filming, there's somebody writing it down. And because you're in the air, you say 'We need to have a talk before we land, I can access my bank account.'"

What a nightmare, indeed. We already know that Mark Hamill will return as Luke Skywalker in Episode IX. However, it is still unclear how the character is still alive or if he will be showing up as a Force Ghost in the sequel. Nevertheless, some fans are probably hoping that Gleeson will slip up and share some details in the near future.

Gleeson is currently working on Episode IX, which began production earlier this month. The former Black Mirror star might not need to worry too much for now but will need to deal with keeping details to himself when the press tour for the movie begins sometime next year.

Star Wars: Episode IX is scheduled for release on December 20, 2019.
