Star Trek: Into Darkness Star Alice Eve Cast as Typhoid Mary for Iron Fist Season Two

It looks like Iron Fist is taking a trip into the darkness to get one of Daredevil's biggest villains. An announcement was made during the show's presentation in SDCC 2018 that actress Alice Eve will be portraying the pyrokinetic Typhoid Mary, who has made life hell for Daredevil and Deadpool in the comics.

Eve said she took the role because "it was very, very violent," which bodes well for the show's second season. The actress also said she was looking forward to playing a character with multiple personalities.

Most fans will recognize Eve for her role in Star Trek: Into Darkness. People also hate that scene where she stripped in front of Captain Kirk for no reason, aside from pleasing horny fanboys. Still, aside from that, Eve did fine in the role and it will be interesting to see how she does as Mary.

Typhoid Mary has always been one of the more interesting foes of Matt Murdock, once being a love interest to the character. Suffering from dissociative identity order, the heroes that fight with her usually sympathize to the plight she fights and tries to help her out. Both Daredevil and Deadpool have done this numerous times.

Iron Fist season two debuts on September 7.
