It looks like Marvel comic book legend Stan Lee has a “big surprise” coming for fans.”

Taking to Twitter after that incident where he was threatened by two gunmen right outside of his home in Los Angeles, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Cameo King decided to post a video message to thank his fans for their support and their concern after hearing about the affair.

However, the video doesn’t just have Lee thanking fans for “caring, and for writing in, and for making my day so joyous.” In the video, Lee also promised a “big surprise” for fans saying that he can’t “tell what it is now, but it’s going to be a big surprise for them.”

It’s hard not to believe that the Marvel Universe might be part of the “big surprise” considering Lee’s affiliation with Marvel Studios, however, the comic book legend has been full of surprises lately, so we can never really tell.

For the past few months, Lee has been at the center of very strange news reports. There were reports of elder abuse from those closest to him. There were reports of hacking into social media accounts. There were also reports of bank theft. Then, last month, there were also reports of getting tricked into signing exclusive rights to his likeness and name to POW! Entertainment.

Aside from the surprise, we’re pretty sure that fans are just hoping that Lee’s year gets better as 2018 goes along.

Marvel’s latest film, Avengers: Infinity War is currently screening in cinemas.
