Stan Lee Asks For Fans Help After Someone Allegedly Hacks Into His Social Media Accounts

Stan Lee's having a tough time now that he's reached 96 and it looks like the Marvel comic book legend continues to find himself in strange elder year misadventures. Earlier this year, Lee found himself in the middle of a string of reports saying that Lee had been taken advantage of those close to him. This year, Lee also reported that someone robbed his bank account.

Now the strangeness continues as the comic book legend claims that someone's managed to gain access to some of his major accounts on social media and is currently impersonating him online. Taking to Twitter, Lee told his fans that he'd be depending on them from now on and that he was looking to his fanbase to defend and protect him.

The posts that Lee made have resulted in a range of responses from his fans. While some express concern over Lee's state and the comic book writer's increasing vulnerability to those who're looking to take advantage of his old age, others express doubt that the posts were made by the actual Stan Lee and not the hacker himself. Others, being fans of Marvel's levity, have responded to the post with Avengers: Infinity War memes.

Though it might seem inappropriate, we understand fans mixed response to Lee's post. It's hard to react accordingly with so many strange incidents going on in Lee's life right now. All we can do is really hope that Lee is safe.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently screening in cinemas.
