(Spoiler) Improvised Their Heartbreaking Lines For Their Death In Avengers: Infinity War

Warning: This article contains MAJOR spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War.

The Avengers might have done all that they could to prevent Thanos from getting his hands on all six Infinity Stones in Avengers: Infinity War but at the end of the film the Mad Titan manages to accomplish what he set out to do: balancing the universe by wiping away half of its population with a snap of his finger.

At the end of Infinity War half of the Avengers and the Earth's inhabitants turn into dust. Tom Holland's Spider-Man was one of those who fell victim to the finger-snapping massacre, the web-slinger's death one of the most heart-wrenching moments in the film. Here's a young high school hero, clinging on to his mentor and hero, telling Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) that he's afraid and that he doesn't want to go.

After appearing at a high school in Iowa Infinity War co-director Joe Russo revealed some cool new info about Peter's heartbreaking death in the first installment in Marvel's two-part Avengers movie. Thanks to a post by Anewhtroaway_quest on Reddit, fans get to learn what the filmmaker shared about working with Holland in Infinity War. During the school visit, the filmmaker revealed that he had instructed the young British actor to just act like he didn't want to leave the planet just yet.

According to Joe, it was the Spider-Man: Homecoming star's decision to ad-lib his lines – the whole "Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good," and the heartbreaking "I don't want to go."

Holland's always been a dynamic actor, but to learn that he ad-libbed such heartbreaking lines himself is nothing short of a pleasant surprise.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently screening in cinemas.
