Spider-Man's Infinity War Costume Is Based On Recent Marvel Comics

When fans saw the new costume Tony Stark prepared for Peter at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, they immediately drew comparisons to the Iron Spider suit made popular during Civil War. This was odd since the costume looks nothing like the Iron Spider, with the only similarity coming from the fact that they're both built by Tony Stark. Since we will be seeing the costume during Avengers: Infinity War, it's worth noting that the costume is less Stark Industries and more Parker Industries.

Fans of Dan Slott's current run of Amazing Spider-Man have seen the new outfit Peter has, with green glowing eyes and a much bigger Spider Emblem that has multiple uses. If we're being honest, this is probably what the film's attire is actually based on. It looks more similar to the Infinity War costume than the Iron Spider, that's for sure.

Peter had this costume for some time, keeping it till now actually. Fans have mixed thoughts on the bigger emblem, but it's pretty small compared to the one seen in Infinity War. Hopefully, it survives the brief encounter with Thanos seen in the trailer.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018. The fourth Avengers film will come to cinemas on May 3, 2019.
