The New York setting that Spidey will be swinging through in the upcoming Spider-Man game for Playstation 4 will be massive - "several times larger" than the 2014 Spider-Man open world game by Insomniac, Sunset City (Sunset Overdrive's setting).
After a fan asked Insomniac Games to compare it to the size of Witcher 3, the developer described a comparison on Twitter:
"That's not a comparison we can really make," Insomniac Games tweeted." It's several times larger than Sunset City was tho."
Sunset Overdrive was pretty big. The developer said the Xbox One exclusive was "the biggest game we've ever made."
At one point, it wasn't clear whether the game would even have an open world, but a behind-closed-doors presentation at E3 confirmed that it will,
Spider-Man for the Playstation 4 will feature both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, and it's set to release in 2018.
