We're only a few weeks away from the release of Insomniac's Spider-Man PS4 coming out and fans are getting impatient. It already looks like the best Spider-Man video game ever made and a quality PS4 exclusive in its own right. Since the game's release is near, fans have been asking plenty of questions about its content and Insomniac's Community Designer James Stevenson has decided to answer one of them.
Stevenson was asked about the game's length and he gave a fairly satisfying answer: 20 hours. Yes, the game's main campaign is going to be a solid 20 hours and this doesn't include the side quests players can participate in.
Lengthy campaigns are always welcome and it's good to know that we will be busy taking down Mister Negative and Spidey's other villains. Hopefully, the missions have variety and the combat feels just as good as it looks in the various trailers. The developers have admitted that the game is inspired by the Batman: Arkham titles, so that should make for some fun fighting.
It's also really nice to know that the side quests will keep players busy. The best open-world games have fantastic side quests so let's hope the ones in Spider-Man PS4 are of quality.
Spider-Man PS4 comes out on September 7.
