Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Cast Includes Spider-Gwen, Kingpin, and More

Sony has impressed fans with the latest trailer for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, thanks to the gorgeous animation and art style. It has gotten many fans excited for the big screen debut of Miles Morales, who will be joined by a myriad of familiar faces like original Spider-Man Peter Parker and the recently revealed Spider-Gwen.

Thanks to Deadline, we can confirm a number of other characters who will be joining Miles, along with who plays them.

Fans already know that Miles will be voiced by Shameik Moore of Dope fame, while Peter will be portrayed by New Girl alumni Jake Johnson. Bumblebee star Hailee Steinfeld has also been confirmed as Spider-Gwen. Wilson Fisk is only briefly seen in the trailer and he's basically a shadow in it. Still, it seems like he will be playing a major role as Liev Schreiber will be voicing the Kingpin of crime.

Rounding out the confirmed cast is Atlanta star Brian Tyree Henry as Miles' father Jefferson, Mahershala Ali from Moonlight as Uncle Aaron aka Prowler, Luna Lauren Velez as Miles' mom Rio and Lilly Tomlin as May Parker.

With the story likely taking place in Miles' Earth, which many know as the Ultimate Universe, it will be interesting to see if Tomlin's May Parker is from here or is related to the older Peter. The original teaser hinted at the death of Peter Parker in Miles' universe, so that's a topic up for discussion.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hits theaters on December 14.
