Spider-Man: Homecoming's Tom Holland Wants To See Tobey Maguire Play Uncle Ben

Thanks to Spider-Man: Homecoming's critical and commercial success, Tom Holland is one of Hollywood's rising stars, and it looks like he has an idea on who should fill a vacant role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Holland, the third actor to play Peter Parker in a live-action Spider-Man film, said that he wants to see Tobey Maguire play his character's uncle.

"I kinda want Tobey Maguire to play Uncle Ben," Holland said during an interview with BBC Radio 1. " "I think that'd be super funny, but I don't think he'll do it."

Tobey was known for being the first actor to play Peter Parker, and he brought life to the character in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy in the early 2000s.

This will probably never happen but fans would probably be happy to see them interact with each other, and if they do, I hope they include some hilarious Easter egg.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is now showing in theaters. It currently has a 93% aggregate score in Rotten Tomatoes. You can read our review here.
