Spider-Man: Homecoming’s Tom Holland Just Absolutely Hates Cats

Marvel fans might have loved Tom Holland's version of Peter Parker in Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming, but it looks like the young actor might lose a few fans after declaring himself an enemy of felines.

The issue whether cats or dogs are better pets continues to be a pretty hot topic, and while the best answer would be to be open to all animals, Holland told CNET in an interview that he really, really hates cats.

"I love dogs with all my heart. I hate cats. I hate just their evil, their conniving – someone's giving me eyes, because you're a cat person I can tell. No, I don't mind cats they're just – bleh," Holland said, sticking his tongue out and openly giving a face.

Of course, Holland also blames his bias on his cat allegery, something that Marvel Studios had to work around with during the production of Homecoming.

While the Marvel star will certainly see a slow decline in fans because of his decision to hate cats ( the internet is wild about those furballs, seemingly more popular compared to dogs), no one can force Holland into hating dogs and loving cats. It's all about preference really, and Holland's preferences won't change the fact that he was a good Spider-Man.

Holland is to reprise his role as Spider-Man in Avengers: Infinity War on May 04, 2018 and Avengers 4 on May 03, 2019.
