It looks like Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland is having a lot of fun with legendary actor Michael Keaton.
Holland's performance as Spider-Man in 2016's Captain America: Civil War was one of the highlights of the massive Marvel superhero smashdown and now as the young actor prepares for the release of his very own Spider-Man standalone, Holland is met with many questions about his work on set. According to a report by Digital Spy, when asked by journalists during this year's BAFTA's about Spider-Man: Homecoming, Holland reveals how cool it is to be working with legend Keaton.
"[It was] pretty cool," Holland said. "[Keaton's] a badass. We have a fight in the movie and I punch him. He turns around and says [in a deep voice], 'I'm Batman'.He kept doing Batman quotes on set."
Holland also shared superhero wisdom that Keaton shared on his young web-filled mind saying that it was really important to "keep the superhero role grounded in reality."
Of course, while everyone loves a grounded superhero, Holland also exudes confidence in his Spider-Man skills. When asked who would win in a Spider-Man brawl between Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire:
"Me," he said. "Absolutely. Hands down."
Charming and funny as ever, this young Spider-Man. No wonder people loved him from the get go in Civil War.
Spider-Man: Homecoming makes its cinematic premiere on July 7 this year.
