Spider-Man Homecoming: Posters And Promo Art Have Spidey In Classic Comic Pose

Though Marvel fans are currently geeking out over the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, there's no doubt that a lot of hype is being built up for the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming this July. Some new promo art has found its way online thanks to VK.com, and one of the images has Spider-Man recreating a classic comic book cover from the 60s.

I thought the Iron Man armor in the art was the same as the one in the trailer, but upon closer inspection, it's actually a bit different from the one we saw. Does that mean we get two different sets of armor for Homecoming?

I'm really excited to see more of this suit in action, and I'm even more eager to see how Peter's homemade Spider-Man outfit functions. I really love how Marvel was able to come up with a design that would animate his eyes so he could be more cartoonish and expressive — just like the comics!

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

Spider-Man: Homecoming comes out July 7.
