Spider-Man Homecoming Leaked Call Sheet Hints at Characters

There hasn't been a lot of news or new information on Jon Watts' Spider-Man: Homecomingthanks to the tight-lipped cast and crew.

However, if a new leaked cast call sheet is correct, fans may be looking at some of the possible characters and villain that will appear in the 2017 reboot Spider-Man movie.

ComicbookMovie.com had spotted a call sheet for Spider-Man: Homecoming, seemingly confirming some of the characters included in the story line. The copy reportedly came from a reliable source, though the original post has already been deleted.

Still, the report has listed a few important names, including The Shocker a.k.a. Herman Schultz, who's set to be portrayed by Bokeem Woodbine. There's also a few names coming from Midtown School of Science and Technology, Peter Parker's high school alma mater. A lot of these are faculty members, including Ms. Warren (Selenis Leyva of Orange is the New Black), Coach Wilson (Hannibal Buress), Mr. Cobwell (Tunde Adebimpe), and Mr. Harrington (Martin Starr).

Pete's love interest Mary Jane, previously confirmed to be played by Zendaya, is also listed in the call sheet. However, she ‘s listed as Michelle, rather than MJ. This may explain why Angourie Rice is listed as Betty Brandt instead of the Betty Brant in the original comics and previous movies. Brant is Pete's officemate at the Daily Bugle.

It's interesting that the call sheet was deleted. Usually, leaks like these, when deleted, often contains a whole lot of truth. But until director Watts or other cast members confirm, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be out on July 7, 2017. Tom Holland will be taking on the role of the young web-slinger.
