Spider-Man: Homecoming: Is Michael Mando Playing Carnage?

Last week, Michael Mando joined the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming but there were no details about the role he's playing. After that, however, the Better Call Saul Twitter account shared what may be a hint to Mando's mysterious role: Cletus Kasady, .a.k.a. Carnage, a homicidal maniac who transforms into Carnage. Check out the tweet:

Maybe "carnage" is meant to be a double entendre here or they're probably just using that word to draw more attention to AMC's show, knowing that it would cause fans to speculate. Knowing that Carnage is one of Spider-Man's strongest villains who Spidey faces in the later parts of his story, I think it would be too early to introduce him in Homecoming, unless they actually show him without the symbiote form.

Spider-Man: Homecoming stars Tom Holland, Marissa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Michael Barbieri, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Kenneth Choi, Martin Starr, and Logan Marshall-Green. It is scheduled to hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
