Spider-Man: Homecoming Adds Abraham Attah to Cast

The upcomingSpider-Man: Homecoming movie has cast Beasts of No Nation star Abraham Attah for an unknown role, Deadline reports.

Attah is a fifteen-year-old born in Ghana, who made his movie debut in the aforementioned Beasts of No Nation last year, starring alongside Idris Elba. He recieved a lot of critical praise for his powerful performance as the child soldier, Abu, winning Best Lead Actor in the Independent Spirit Awards. He also got nominated for the Screen Actors Choice Awards and Criticial Choice Awards. Spider-Man: Homecoming will be his second big-budget film.

Spider-Man Homecoming, which has Tom Holland starring as Peter Parker, started shooting earlier this week. The film is slated to premiere on July 7, 2017.

Abraham Attah is a very talented actor, so I'm excited to see him join the cast and excited to see what role he will play. He could be playing one of Peter Parker's peers. But considering he's much younger than Tom Holland, there's also a possibility he could be playing Miles Morales, a younger boy took over as Spider-Man when Peter Parker died in Marvel's Ultimate comics.

What's your guess for what role Abraham Attah will play? Are you excited to see him join the movie?
