After plenty of speculation and reports, Disney has finally unveiled the official digital and Blu-Ray release date for Solo: A Star Wars Story. What many people feel is the most underrated Star Wars movie to date due to its low box office income, fans are hoping that the home release of this film helps make some money.

Digital fans will be able to download the film on September 14, while physical collectors can get their hands on this movie on September 25. This is pretty accurate to the report that supposedly leaked the release, so that's interesting. Fans will have to wait a while to rewatch this movie but hopefully, the wait is worth it.

There will be a number of extras that fans will absolutely love. According to ComicBook.com, the home release of this film will come with a director and cast roundtable, eight deleted scenes, and a number other features fans of the film will enjoy.

Solo: A Star Wars Story has been a subject of controversy for quite some time, thanks to the departure of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. Add a number of reports that claimed lead actor Alden Ehrenreich couldn't act and Ron Howard essentially shooting the film from the ground up, it's easy to see why it didn't do too well.

If you want to give it a chance, you now know when the film is purchasable.
