Showrunner Refers To Daredevil Season 2 as 'Daredevil vs. Punisher'

Ever since The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal was officially cast as the Punisher for Season 2 of Daredevil, fans have been wondering if he will be a friend or foe to Daredevil. According to the source from The Nerdist, the newly appointed co-showrunner Marco Ramirez has been referring to Season 2 as "Daredevil vs. the Punisher".

Spoilers ahead!

However, the title is more of a philosophical battle between the two. At the end of Season 1, Matt Murdock turned in Kingin to the police, pledging not to kill in the name of justice, so it's natural that he would have a problem with Punisher's take-no-prisoners style of vigilante justice. It's still unknown if Season 2 will follow Daredevil vs. Punisher: Means & End, but if it does, we might see Daredevil and Punisher team up to take down the true nemesis: Bullseye, an assassin-for-hire who was hired by Kingpin. This is just speculation. So what do you think will happen in Daredevil Season 2?

Season 2 is expected to premiere on Netflix next year. Stay tuned in our Marvel fan page on FB for the latest updates.
