Shazam’s Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Excited for Aquaman

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has just recently been welcomed into the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) after discussing with DC about a role in a future Shazam film and now the Hollywood celebrity expresses his excitement to see DC's 2018 standalone, Aquaman.

Yesterday, Aquaman helmsman James Wan welcomed The Rock into the DCEU with open arms after the professional wrestler and Hollywood celebrity announced to the world on Twitter that he was joining the DC family as Black Adam in DC's upcoming Shazam!

"Glad to have you in the club, my friend!" Wan wrote on Twitter yesterday.

Now The Rock responds in kind, enthusing about Wan's work on Aquaman.

Of course, given that the two had previously worked together in 2016's Furious 7, DC fans would understand the fondness both The Rock and Wan have for each other, especially now that the two are both working in the DCEU.

Now that he's part of the family, Johnson also takes care to assure fans that DC's doing well expanding its newly created cinematic universe.

From the looks of things, the DCEU just might be running well. Let's hope for the best for DC!

Shazam is slated to premiere on the big screen sometime in 2019 while Aquaman comes out in cinemas October 5, 2018.
