The best Netflix original series is not over yet! Sense8 is returning to the streaming service with its second season, and the cast just announced it on their characters' birthdays.
Today marks the birthday of the eight main characters of the Wachowskis' sci-fi series Sense8, and to honor the ensemble, Netflix shared a video of the main cast (except Tuppence Middleton, who played Riley in the show) greeting "Happy Birthday!", thanking fans for their support, and confirming that Season 2 is coming! Co-creator to the series J. Michael Straczynski discussed Sense8 recently at TCA's summer press tour acknowledging the fan's positive responses and hope for a second season (via The Hollywood Reporter).
I really enjoyed watching Sense8. I thought the Wachowsis created something unique, and has never really been done at this scale before. The show received a lot of positive reviews, with a lot of the fans, including myself, re-watching the whole series multiple times.
