As announced in August, Star Wars-themed lands are coming to Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, and now, construction is underway on "The Star Wars Experience" theme parks, also known as Star Wars Land. To celebrate the groundbreaking, Disney shared a 360-degree panoramic photo of the groundbreaking site. While they're still mostly piles of dirty, fans will see several Star Wars characters and vehicles in the 14-acre construction site at Disneyland park. Explore the area 360-degree style at the Disney Parks Blog.

Last month, we shared some rumored details about Star Wars Land, including some info about the alcohol-serving cantina and laser system.

They also released images of R2-D2 and BB-8 at the construction site:

"In these all-new lands, guests will be transported to a never-before-seen planet inhabited by humanoids, droids and many others. Star Wars-themed lands will be the largest-ever single-themed land expansions at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as we continue to keep you updated on the progress of these galactic expansions."
