Second Trailer For Avengers: Infinity War Breaks Viewership Record

Avengers: Infinity War is a little over a month away from its release, and it looks like the hype surrounding the first installment in Marvel's two-part Avengers movie event just keeps on getting stronger as fans wait for the film to make its big premiere.

Marvel's also been working hard on Infinity War's marketing campaign, rolling out a slew of new covers, images, interviews and of course a brand new Infinity War trailer.

The trailer which was released last week offered exciting new footage from the film, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, the second trailer for Infinity War managed to rake in 179 million views during its first 24 hours online. The accumulated views makes the preview the third-most viewed trailer during a 24-hour time frame, beating Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast's 128 million views back in 2016.

That's not all. Advanced tickets for Infinity War sold out the same day advanced ticket sales opened breaking Fandango's pre-sale records for comic book movies by tripling the mark set by Black Panther back in February.

It's pretty obvious that there's a lot of excitement building up over Infinity War and we're sure that cinemas are going to be packed once the film makes its debut.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27.
