Ryan Reynolds Wants to See Deadpool in The Rock's Fast & Furious Spinoff

Last week, it was announced that Deadpool 2 director David Leitch was going to direct the upcoming Fast and Furious spinoff starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, and it will focus on Hobbs and Shaw. Now, Ryan Reynolds wants to join the high-speed action as he replied to Leitch's confirmation tweet, and he laid out a concept of how one of Deadpool's scenes would play out in The Rock's Fast & Furious spinoff.

"You promised Deadpool was in this," Reynolds tweeted. "You said I get to play the no-nonsense Police Chief, who yells at Hobbs for crashing his 58 valve Nissan Sentra into an Olive Garden. Put me in coach."

There's probably no chance of seeing Deadpool in a Fast & Furious film but maybe Ryan Reynolds could still make a cameo, but what's the difference? Reynolds pretty much embodies his character.

Synopsis:

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry's hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World's Best Lover.

Deadpool 2 also stars Jack Kesy as the film's primary villain, along with Julian Dennison, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Stefan Kapicic as the voice of Colossus, Shioli Kutsuna, Terry Crews, and Bill Skarsgard.

Deadpool 2 hits theaters May 18.
