Deadpool 2 was another smash hit for Marvel Fox, but not too long ago, the property was in development hell with Ryan Reynolds trying his best to get it off the ground. With DP 2 still bringing in the numbers, Reynolds thought it would be fun to share this image of himself in the Deadpool suit for the first time.
Admittedly, the suit looks a lot cleaner than the final product, but it's still amazing how the film was able to bring to screen a comic accurate version of the character. They even went the extra mile by having to animate the white eyes. For a feature that's constantly used in the comics, Deadpool is still the only modern-day superhero to keep to the classic "white eye" look.
Despite initial worries that DP 2 would flounder in the box office since it released close to two blockbusters, the film is actually doing pretty well. As a result, Solo is the one that is having trouble achieving its box office goal. Then again, we still have to wait for both films to end their runs so we'll know who'll eventually come out on top.
