Rumor: Info for Star Wars Resistance May Have Leaked Last March

Last April, it was revealed that Dave Filoni was working on a series called Star Wars: Resistance, and it will follow the adventures of a Resistance pilot set before the timeline of The Force Awakens. As it turns out, information for the show may have already leaked last March on 4chan.

This was posted on Reddit by BromineHahnium, and it was supposed to be a leak for a show called Star Wars: Black Squadron.

This 4Chan post was made back in March, months before Star Wars: Resistance was officially announced. So far, what has been confirmed lines up pretty well.

It's possible that the original title was dropped for Resistance, but there are a lot of details that fall in line with the reveal in April. For one, the show is said to be embracing the 2D format this time around, and it was also said that actors in the films have been asked to reprise their roles for the series.

The new information here, though, is that there are specific instructions not to give Poe Dameron a love interest, and there is also a possible appearance of Kylo Ren voiced by Adam Driver.

The way these shows are developed, there's a chance that a few elements could be changed here and there, but at least we have a small idea of what's in store for the show. Besides the title, we have yet to see anything from Lucasfilm, so we as fans just have to take what we can get.

Hopefully Filoni reveals some images at the Clone Wars panel at SDCC 2018.

Star Wars Resistance is set to come out later this year.
