“Rouge One” Now Trending Thanks To Some Star Wars Fans Who Can't Spell

With the release of the trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the Star Wars fandom has gone gaga on the internet. Apparently though, the adrenaline rush from the highly anticipated trailer has caused some fans to type Rogue One completely wrong on Twitter.

The hashtag "Rouge One," instead of Rogue One, is now trending on the social media network.

While the mix-up is completely reasonable, considering the excitement a Star Wars fan feels seeing a trailer after waiting for months, it's still amusing to see the tweets.

Meanwhile, writers have anticipated the problem as it looks like some of them already made the mistake in their Rogue One articles.

Because Star Wars will no question trend with each new trailer that comes out, the Twitterverse has #RougeOne trending just after #RogueOne. The hype is just that high that spellcheck can't stop fans from making their Rouge One tweets.

Rouge One is now so famous, that people started making fun of it already.

At least some Star Wars fans still have eight months to perfect their spellings.

The real Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will hit theaters on December 16.
