Ronda Rousey Breaks Social Media Silence With an Inspiring J.K. Rowling Quote

Ronda Rousey just broke her socia media silence for the first time since losing to Amanda Nunes in the first round at UFC 207. The former UFC women's bantamweight champion had only posted a writted statement after being beaten by Nunes on Dec. 30. Rousey's new post is a bit more cryptic and it's a quote by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling.

Rousey's Brazillian rival Cris "Cyborg" Justino, who used to verbally attack Rousey on social media, offered words of encouragement for Rousey.

"I was sad to see the loss of the sports star. But you have so much ahead of you and [are] blessed with the financial security to pursue all your passions. You opened the door for more promotion and grew into a sport icon. [Enjoy] the next chapter of life and know you've got amazing opportunities to continue changing the world."

Rousey hasn't announced whether she will continue her MMA career afer two consecutive knockout losses, but based on the J.K. Rowling quote she posted, it sounds like she hasn't given up yet.
