Rogue One Blu-Ray Release Gets Special Package Deal From S.H. Figuarts

Though many aren't pleased that the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Blu-Ray release isn't bringing with it the highly sought-after deleted scenes of the first Lucasfilm Star Wars spinoff, fans can take comfort in knowing that S.H. Figuarts is partnering with Lucasfilm to give fans a great package to celebrate the film's home release.

Disney Japan (via Comicbook) has just announced today that S.H. Figuarts is offering fans and collectors the chance to get both the steel book edition of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Blu-Ray as well as a Death Trooper figure and other items. Though the figure was originally released during the premiere month of the film in December last year, the Blu-Ray version of the S.H. Figuarts Death Troper figure includes a few updates.

Among these are a grenade belt, a long range blaster, a shoulder gard, a scope accessory for the Death Trooper's helmet as well as a chest protector. Fans also get eight mini-posters featuring the Rogue One team.

Collectors looking to kill two birds with one stone will definitely find the Rogue One MovieNEX Premium Box a good buy. Costing around 14,040¥ or $125, the special S.H. Figuarts Rogue One package is a bang for the buck since it offers figure collectors a Death Trooper loaded with accessories. Who wouldn't want that?

The only problem is that there's still no word when the special package will cross over Stateside. For now, fans can order it at Disney Japan.
