Resident Evil 2 Remake: The New Faces Scanned for Leon and Claire

Years after it was initially announced, Capcom finally unveiled the Resident Evil 2 remake during the Sony E3 conference. Seeing these old familiar landscapes and characters in the fantastic Resident Evil 7 engine was a treat, though fans did freak out a bit when they saw their new HD faces.

Thanks to various posts in social media, we now know the models scanned for Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield, along with Leon's superior Marvin Branagh. No news on who was scanned to play the poor cop bitten by the zombie though.

Fashion model Eduard Badaluta revealed that his face was the basis for remake Leon on Instagram. It doesn't seem like he will be voicing Leon, though he did tell fans to enjoy the game when it comes out in January.

Jordan Mcewen also revealed that her face was the basis for Claire's, though she deleted her post for no known reasons. Various websites were able to report on it before the post was taken down though. Finally, music producer Patrick Levar confirmed that his face was scanned for Branagh on Facebook.

It will be fun to see whose faces are used for other characters, particularly fan-favorite Ada Wong. Resident Evil 2 comes out on January 25, 2019, on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
