Ray Park Would Like Darth Maul To Get A Standalone Star Wars Film

Ray Park, the actor known for playing Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I: Phantom Menace, was at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, and during the Q&A session he was asked if he had any interest in a standalone Darth Maul film.

"I would love to be disciplined, like not eat anything for four months, and be shredded and do the whole tattoo body effect like you see in the comics and the novels," Park said (via IGN). "I'd love to do that!"

Darth Maul is probably the most badass character in the prequel trilogy; even though Obi Wan sliced him in half, he put up a spectacular fight with Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi Wan. If Lucasfilm and Disney decide to make a Darth Maul movie it would probably be a prequel, but did he really die? "If Darth Maul was coming back, he should be topless, tattooed, bigger horns, robotic legs!" Park said. "I would love to do it!"
