Pooh and Friends Come Together in New Sneak Peek for Disney's Christopher Robin

Though everyone wants an announcement that Ewan McGregor would reprise the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Lucasfilm is yet to budge. Not to worry though, because his fans get to see him in the big screen much earlier with Disney's Christopher Robin. A new sneak peek has been released, and it gives us a look at Pooh and friends, plus a hint at the overall tone of the film.

Here's the official synopsis:

In the heartwarming live action adventure Disney's "Christopher Robin," the young boy who shared countless adventures with his band of lovable stuffed animals in the Hundred Acre Wood is now grown up and living in London but he has lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin rediscover the joys of family life, the value of friendship and to appreciate the simple pleasures in life once again.

McGregor will be joined by Haley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger) as well as Mark Gatiss (Game of Thrones, Sherlock). The movie will also feature the voices of Brad Garrett (Eeyore), Peter Capaldi (Rabbit), Nick Mohammed (Piglet), Sophie Okonedo (Kanga), and Jim Cummings (Pooh and Tigger).

I'll admit, the first teaser doesn't really give much of an exposition of the story, but this sneak peek reveals to us that Pooh has actually come to life in this film, and everyone else along with Christopher Robin can see him.

Catch Christopher Robin in theaters Aug. 3.
