Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Gets A Photo Club, A New Surfing Mini-Game And More

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are a month or so away, and Nintendo has decided to share some of the newer features that will be in the game. Mantine Surfing and the Alola Photo Shoot are the main features highlighted, giving fans extra incentive to double dip for these entries. We also get a new Alolan Island challenge, which should be fun to do.

Mantine Surfing will let players use a new Ride Pokemon, which also activates a new mini-game where players can perform tricks while on top of the Mantine. It looks like this Ride Pokemon can be used for specific challenges and competitions, which could lead to more money and extra items. Here is hoping that becoming a top-notch Mantine Surfer plays well.

The Alola Photo Shoot lets players take cute photos with their favorite Pokemon. Here, players will be able to dress their created character in a variety of outfits while taking part in cute little shoots with their Pokemon. Doing so will increase the chosen's Pokemon's affections towards the player, which should make them friendlier easier.

Lastly, Mina will now be part of the Island Challenge this time. In the original Sun and Moon games, players ran into Mina briefly in the main story before battling her in the post-game campaign. Having an additional challenge with Mina should be interesting.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are slated for a November 17 release on 3DS.
