Pokemon Sun and Moon Is Now On Netflix

This isn't an April Fool's joke, Netflix has added the first season of Pokemon Sun and Moon to their streaming service. Fans who haven't done so yet can finally catch up with Ash and his trusty Pikachu, as they venture the Alola region and meet new Pokemon. Sun and Moon has actually been one of the series' more popular seasons, so fans who haven't caught with the series can start here.

Sun and Moon has been praised for its gorgeous animation, particularly when fight scenes happen. While some fans have complained about the simpler character models, the action, and smooth movements more than make up for it.

It's not just the animation that's been praised either, as Sun and Moon has also added a number of firsts to the series. Ash had his first kiss and experienced his first loss to Team Rocket, both of which are pretty big deals.

For Ash's sake, let's hope the writers at least let him win the Alolan Challenge and maybe even the Pokemon League, assuming there will be one. In the Sun and Moon video game, players partake in Alola's first Pokemon League, so it would be neat seeing Ash not just partake in the first Alolan league but win it as well.

Pokemon Sun and Moon can now be viewed on Netflix. The video games, including the enhanced Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, are available for the 3DS.
