Pokemon Sun and Moon Has a New Alolan Form for Meowth and More

The Japanese magazine CoroCoro has shown off some new Pokemon for the upcoming Sun and Moon game, Serebii reports. The images show us some new Pokemon, new forms of old Pokemon and even the antagonists for the game. You can check them out below:

A new sandcastle Pokemon is shown in the images and its Japanese name is Sunabaa. The larger sandcastle it evolves into is called Shirodesuna.This Pokemon is a Ghost and Ground type. Sunabaa is described a terrifying "grudge that dwells within a pile of sand" that somehow turned into a Pokemon. Apparently, its evolution steals the life force of other Pokemon and the resentment those Pokemon leave behind turns into new Sunabaas.

The pre-evolved form of the new Pokemon Bewear is also shown and it's called Nuikoguma. The Pokemon is described as popular with women and children, but it hates being touched and will kick and struggle against anyone who tries to do so.

A fish Pokemon called Yowashi has also been revealed and it has the ability to change into a larger fish with a bunch of little fish being part of it. This is called its "school form".

We also see a look at the antagonists for the game, Team Skull. They wear black and white and seem to have a bit of a punk thing going- there are two grunts shown, but also a girl with the pink-and-yellow hair who is called Plumeri and the guy with white hair who is reportedly the boss of the team, Guzma.

Finally, the pages also show us some new "Alolan forms" for Meowth and Marowak. The new Meowth form is a Dark type while the new Marowak form is a Fire and Ghost type. This new Meowth was apparently bred by the Alolan royal family, while Marowak simply changed in order to resist predators.
