Pokemon Go Announces New PokeStops & Gyms in Europe


In preparation for winter, Niantic Labs has announced adding new PokeStops and Gyms all over the 58 shipping areas and centers in 1- European countries, thanks to a partnership with Unibail-Rodamco.

Announced via the official website, this marks the first official partnership for Pokemon Go in Europe.

"Between 10 – 15 new PokeStops and Gyms will be added to public spaces, social hubs, and public art at each of the destination centers. Trainers will not only be able to keep warms in the cold winter months while playing Pokemon Go, but also add a fun, social, and dynamic addition to their shopping experience."

To commemorate the partnership, Unibail-Rodamco will hold a series of Pokemon Go events in 20 locations all over Europe. This will include a contest where players will need to find Pokemon around each of the locations, with lures active every day at each of the location and events.

This comes at an opportune time for those who are in Europe, especially with the 80 promised Pokemon coming to Pokemon Go.
