Pokemon Fighting Game Pokken Tournament Coming To Wii-U

Pokken Tournament, the Pokemon fighting game currently available on arcades in Japan, is heading West for Wii-U.

The Pokémon Company announced the news today at the Pokémon World Championships in Boston, telling fans that the fighting game will get a worldwide release on Wii U this spring. Like the arcade version, this game will be developed by Tekken publisher Bandai Namco. No word yet on which Pokemon characters will be playable in the console version, but in the arcade version, so far we've seen Machamp, Lucario, Pikachu, Charizard, Guardevoir, Gengar, Suicune, Weavile, and Blaziken.
