Pirates Of The Caribbean’s Brenton Thwaites Cast As Titan’s Robin

DC's live-action Titans television series is getting for production and it seems like the TV show's just named Brenton Thwaites as its new Robin.

For the past few weeks, Titans has been busy casting the different actors and actresses to portray the Teen Titans different members, naming 13-year –old actress Teagan Croft as Raven and 24: Legacy star Anna Diop as Starfire.

Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Titans has found its perfect Dick Grayson, adding in Thwaites in the series' lead role as DC's Boy Wonder. For those who aren't that familiar with the star, Thwaaits starred in various Hollywood films like Pirates of the Caribbean: Deadmen Tell No Tales, Gods of Egypt and The Giver.

DC Geoff Johns who is working as Titans executive producer has praised Brenton's potential as Robin, saying that the studio is lucky to have him on board the project.

"Dick Grayson is one of the most important and iconic heroes in the DC Universe, and it wasn't easy to find him but we have. Brenton has the emotional depth, heart, danger and physical presence of Batman's former protege and the Titans' future leader. We're extremely lucky he's chosen to bring his talents to this project and this character."

Though there isn't that much information on the characterization of Robin in the series, we're excited to see how Titans will turn out.

Titans is expected to premiere sometime in 2018 on DC's digital service.
