Peter Dinklage Wants to be in a Star Wars Movie

There has been news going around that Reed Morano (The Handmaid's Tale) has had a meeting with Lucasfilm, and everyone immediately guessed that she was being hired for a Star Wars project. Peter Dinklage, who has worked with Morano on I Think We're Alone Now, has expressed his interest to be in a Star Wars project, but sadly Morano has denied those rumors.

Talking to IMDb about her latest movie, Morano was asked about her recent meeting with Lucasfilm, to which she denied that the project she was being hired for was not Star Wars and it was "just a meeting." Dinklage then went on to chime in "I just want a part!"

You can watch him tease director Morano about the Star Wars project here:

Seeing that Star Wars is full of kooky characters, I can imagine Dinklage fitting in just fine as an alien or probably just himself. Warwick Davis, who is also a little person, has had a role in every Star Wars movie since Force Awakens, and one of the franchise's most beloved mascots, R2-D2, is also played by little person Kenny Baker.

Aside from Dinklage's stature, Game of Thrones has proven that he could be one amazing actor. He would be a huge snag for any Star Wars project. Maybe there's room for him in the Obi-Wan solo movie?

The next Star Wars film to come out will be Solo: A Star Wars Story and it's slated to hit theaters May 25.
